Join us for an enriching and practical virtual lecture with Dr. Benjamin C. Shin, Associate Professor of Christian Ministry and Leadership at Talbot School of Theology. 🎓
In this special event, Dr. Shin will share wisdom from over 30 years of pastoral, academic and leadership experience. With a deep passion for developing leaders and revitalizing the church, Dr. Shin will explore the vital connection between leadership and discipleship—what it looks like to raise up Christlike leaders in today’s world and how the church can be equipped to thrive through intentional mentorship and mission-driven service.
Dr. Shin has served in a wide range of ministry contexts and currently directs the Asian-American Ministry track in Talbot’s Doctor of Ministry program. Known for his relatable teaching style and deep theological insight, he has also contributed to publications like The Moody Bible Commentary and co-authored Tapestry of Grace, a book on Asian-American Christianity and the church. His heart for the church, combined with his academic rigor, makes this lecture both inspiring and deeply practical for those in ministry and those preparing to enter it.
✨ Whether you're a current ministry leader, considering seminary, or simply wanting to grow in your calling, this event is designed to challenge and equip you in your leadership journey.
In addition to Dr. Shin’s lecture, our Talbot Admissions team will be available live to answer your questions about our graduate programs, how to apply, and what steps you can take to begin your theological education with us.

We look forward to seeing you there and walking alongside you as you explore how God might be calling you into deeper leadership and discipleship through Talbot School of Theology.
