No matter how long you've been a Christian, you've experienced the reality of temptation--those pulls away from faithfulness to God. In this passage, Luke gives us an insight into how Jesus experienced temptation, how He overcame it, and what it means for our daily walk with Him.

Matthew Hall
Matthew Hall is 51ÂÜÀò's provost and senior vice president. A theologian and historian by training, Dr. Hall is a graduate of Grove City College (BA), Southern Seminary (MDiv, ThM), and the University of Kentucky (PhD). He and his wife, Jeannie, have three children (including one who is a college student) and are part of Grace Fellowship Church in Costa Mesa.
