Faculty and Staff Application Process

  1. Search for job openings.

    Job openings will be posted on the Employment Opportunities website as they become available.

  2. Apply to the position(s).

    • and submit the online application. Applicants can apply to more than one position, but the online application should only be submitted once.
    • To update information on the online application, log in to the and select the appropriate field(s) to edit.
    • All candidates will be notified of the final status of their application. Please note that email or telephone inquiries about application statuses cannot be honored.
  3. Application will be reviewed by the appropriate school or department.

    • Faculty positions: The online application and faculty CV will be reviewed by the appropriate school(s) for which they applied.
    • Staff positions: The online application will be reviewed by the Office of Human Resources and referred to the hiring department.
  4. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.

    • Faculty positions: Qualified applicants will be notified by the school for an interview.
    • Staff positions: Qualified applicants will be notified by the hiring department for an interview.
  5. Applicants will be notified of a decision.

    • Faculty: Faculty applicants will receive final application disposition information from the particular school(s) for which they applied.
    • Staff: Staff applicants will receive an offer of employment extended by the Office of Human Resources on behalf of the hiring department.

    Note: If the position has been filled, the remaining applicants will be notified by email. Please keep in mind that on average the hiring process takes approximately 23 months.
